WSA USA is introducing its latest generation of robotic load handling and finished goods automation for the North American corrugated converting industry. Built on WSA USA’s proven material handling platforms, the new SmartShipping™ Automation System integrates robotic palletizing, top sheet insertion, load tag application, pallet insertion, load tiering, conveyance, and plant-wide unit tracking into one coordinated solution.
Designed for high-speed Flexo Folder Gluers and Rotary Diecutters, the Robotic FFG and RDC Palletizer helps converting machines run at maximum production speeds while reducing manual labor requirements. Each converting line interfaces directly with the WSA SmartShipping PC Automation system, providing full unit visibility from machine discharge through shipping. This enables automated top dunnage application, load tag printing and application, strapping, pallet insertion, load tiering, and staging on dedicated shipping lanes.
The Robotic Top Sheet Insertion and Load Tag Applicator automatically applies protective top sheets and production identification tags to finished loads. This improves shipment protection, strengthens traceability, reduces repetitive handling, and supports more accurate downstream warehouse and logistics operations.
The Robotic Pallet Inserter with integrated Load Tiering System automatically positions pallets in the load-building process while forming consistent, stable load tiers. Together, these systems improve load quality, reduce safety risks, and create more predictable production flow across multiple lines.
